Ok…so it’s not really a commercial product and obviously has a lot of limitations but there’s something sexy about a completely new mode of input. Accelerometers are awesome…this could make them awesomer.

I don’t even know that I have anything to add to the title. It’ll take a few more looks for me to really comment.

Micki Krimmel, CEO of NeighborGoods.net pulled together a group of her friends to make a video to introduce people to NeighborGoods. We wrote, shot, edited, and packaged this video in all of about five days. Not bad…..be sure to view it full screen.

For those of you who know me…you can see that I actually make [...]

Just added some new work to my portfolio including the website concepts I did for the Princess of Africa documentary film and some motion graphics I did for Micki Krimmel, CEO and Founder of NeighborGoods.net. I also put the actual flash motion graphics I did for Axiom in their gallery.

I’ve never been excited about a Microsoft product launch in my life and I didn’t think it was ever going to happen. Maybe something XBox related, but certainly never for their interfaces. Microsoft has long lived in the shadows of Apple in that department and have pretty much embodied the notion that they are nothing [...]

Ran across this little gem on Engadget today. I wish it was more in depth in it’s description of the various concepts like the “six experience modules” but it looks really nice and well put together. I’ll look around to see if I can find some more about Locus so check back.

There’s so much going on here, I really can’t begin to comment. Some really nice eye candy, though. If only Microsoft could actually produce anything even remotely this slick.

Ran across this article on Engadget concerning iPhone App Store newsreader apps. I know it’s not design or interface related, but you could stretch it into a branding argument. The basic question surrounds apps like “The New York Times Mobile Reader” which is nothing more than a customized RSS reader. The problem is that [...]
